Located on a peninsula that separates its namesake lake and the Gulf of Thailand, Songkhla is proud of its heritage. The Songkhla peninsula has many interesting places worth exploring. In the old town, you will find beautiful houses and low-rise commercial buildings in Chinese and Sino-European styles. Once you think you have seen enough of the old town, you can venture to other parts of the city. From Hua Khao Daeng, you can take a ferry back to the peninsula, and ride through the old town again.
